From Scotland to the World Stage

Doris Paul was born in Scotland and immigrated to Canada in the late 1950s, where she forged her own path through relentless hard work and fortitude. Following rigorous apprenticeships across Glasgow, London, and Paris, Doris began a career that would soon dominate the global hairdressing stage.
Honoured on numerous occasions for her absolute precision and skill, she was named the Champion Hair Dresser of Canada in 1960. In 1963, she represented Canada internationally, and in 1964, she shattered ceilings by becoming the first Canadian woman to win the World Supreme Hair Styling Championship in New York City.

People will want to purchase these videos, because there are many years of my heart and soul in them.

With such prestigious awards under her belt, her career skyrocketed. She became a top stylist in high-end beauty salons, represented internationally recognized companies such as L’Oreal De Paris, Clairol, and Wella as a head platform artist, and later founded Doris Paul’s Advanced School of Design, where she passed her master-level skills on to thousands of other hairdressers across North America.

Unlocking the Vault

I’m Colin, Doris’s son. I have about 62 original training hairdressing videos that my mother filmed. The content inside them is historically and technically priceless. There are techniques and ideas in these tapes that haven’t been seen for decades.
My mother was a dedicated teacher whose secret weapon was her sense of humour. Her affinity for helping others, combined with the ability to laugh at herself, launched the careers of many successful stylists. I’ve bundled these incredibly rare masterclasses so they can be affordable for everyone.
